This is a reproduction of an antique bookcase that the client noticed in an antique store. It is constructed of Appalachian Black Cherry. The case and sliding doors are constructed using mortise and tenon joinery with floating glass panels. The door pulls are actual antique brass that I happened to find in an estate sale. This piece was finished out with a light distress, two stage staining process for heavy antiquing and coated with varnish.
