This room was commissioned as a commercial installation. It is constructed of Appalachian Black Cherry, both solid and plywood, Spanish Cedar and Mahogany. Most all of the joinery used in the casework is mortise and tenon. Panels were fasted using French cleats. All panel grain is sequenced, slip matched. The library units are also used as HVAC returns.
